Mr. Attar Yenigun Chief of Selection and Recruitment at New York office Department who was accompanied by Mr. Jean Michel Turquois Public Order Adviser Standing Police Capacity Department of Peacekeeping Operations Police Division on 12^th September, 2019 paid a courtesy call on the Inspector General of Police Mr. Kakoma Kanganja at Police Service Headquarters in Lusaka.

Mr. Kanganja was optimistic that Zambia Police is ready to be sending formed police Unit as it is adequately equipped.

Zambia Police has been sending Peacekeepers in form of Individual Police Officers (IPOs).

Mr. Yenigun has praised the Zambia Police Service for having the highest number of female police officers in Peacekeeping missions. (Police Public Relations Unit)
