LUSAKA DIVISION
Lusaka Division lies in the central part of Zambia. It shares boundaries with eastern province on the Eastern sid while in the western side it shares with central province while on the western part with southern province. The province has nine (9) distrcits namely Kafue, Luangwa, Chilanga, Rufunsa, Shibuyunji, Lusaka, Chongwe including Siavonga and Chirundu. Siavonga and Chirundu are geographically located in the southern province but administratively falling under the jurisdiction of Lusaka Police Division. The Division Headquarters office block is situated on Church road of the capital city of the republic of Zambia.
AREA AND POPULATION
The province covers an area surface of 25,767 square Kilometres including Siavonga and Chirundu which are in Southern province. It has a total population of about 2,250,089 people including Chirundu and Siavonga districts. This is according to 2010 CSO population census.
