PRESIDENT HICHILEMA APPOINTS NEW COMMAND

President Hakainde Hichilema has made changes to the Zambia Police Service High Command after winning the 2021 General Elections.
Mr. Hichilema who is Commander-In-Chief of the Defence Force has appointed Mr. Lemmy Kajoba as Inspector General of Police.
The Republican President has since introduced three Deputy Inspector Generals of Police namely Ms. Doris Chibombe in charge of Administration, Mr. Miller Muyambango in charge of Operations while Mr. Fanwell Siandenge is in charge for Special Duties at State House.
Mr. Hichilema further indicated that a new structure for the Police was being formulated as he has done away with the Provincial Commissioners of Police.
At the moment the provinces are being headed by Deputy
Commissioners of Police.
