IG WELCOMES BACK UNAMID, AMISON POLICE OFFICERS…

October 2, 2019 - Inspector General of Police Kakoma Kanganja has commended Eleven Police Officers who have ended their tour of duty with the United Nations Hybrid Operations in Darfur (UNAMID) and African Mission In Somali (AMISOM) respectively.

Mr. Kanganja who received the officers in his office today, applauded them for their hard work and discipline exhibited during their tour of duty and further urged them to continue on the same trajectory. sudan 1

“Share the expertise you have acquired with your colleagues at your work stations in order to enhance professionalism in the Police Service,” Mr. Kanganja said.

At the same event, the Police Chief promoted Constable Musakuzi Clement of Kitwe Police Station to the rank of Sergeant. Sergeant Musakuzi, who was the junior member of the contingent, served in AMISOM together with five others.
