8 Suspects Arrested
Suspect Gunned down and 8 Arrested
Police have arrested eight suspects and gunned down one in connection with the spate of aggravated robberies that have been happening at different filling stations in Lusaka. The eighth suspect is nursing injuries in UTH after an exchange of fire with police officers.
The successful operations also led to the recovery of three AK 47 riffles, one revolver and eight rounds of ammunition.
The operations will continue until all those involved in these criminal activities are brought to book. We would also like to urge members of the public with information leading to the apprehension of the remaining criminals to report to the nearest police station.
