DISTRICTS

The District Traffic Officers are the in-charge of all traffic matters in their districts and are assisted by the Administration Officers. The operations are conducted by the Accident Prevention Teams. There is also a shift which runs 24 hours a day. The shift personnel deal with Road Traffic Accidents and they run three shifts a day. The first shift starts from 0000 hours to 0800 hours, the second one runs from 0800 to 1600 hours and the last shift is from 1600 hours to 2400 hours. The Investigation Wings investigate road traffic accidents and process them to court.

STATIONS

The stations are headed by Traffic Officers (TOs) who are assisted by the Administration Officers. The operations are done by the Accident Prevention Teams who also deal with Road Traffic Accidents within their areas of jurisdiction. The investigation Teams investigate Road Traffic Accidents and process them to court.
